About Us
Wet Water Gear is offshore-built fishing apparel from Central Florida — made by real people who'd rather be on the water than anywhere else. Real gear for the days that start before sunrise and end long after the sun goes down.
Our Story
The brand I wanted didn't exist. So I built it.
My name is Nick Velez — a Central Florida offshore angler. I spent years buying fishing apparel from the big names. Most of it wasn't built for the conditions I actually fish in; it was built for the version of fishing that looks good in a catalog.
I wanted gear that worked harder than that — and a brand with real people behind it, not some corporate entity. People who work all week dreaming about fishing the weekend.

The Standard
Earns Its Place on the Boat
We hold every piece to one test: would we wear it on a long run offshore? UPF 50+ to block the sun dawn to dusk, fabric that wicks sweat and dries fast, and a lightweight feel you forget you're wearing.
No filler, no gimmicks — just dependable gear from people who fish the same Central Florida water you do.
On the Water
Sun-Protective by Design
Long days offshore are brutal on your skin. Every piece is built with UPF sun protection, moisture-wicking fabric, and a breathable, quick-dry feel — so you can fish from first light to last cast without paying for it later.
Why Wet Water
